Tumut Township

This half day tour provides access to some of Tumut's premier attractions.

The first port of call is a visit to Bonnies B's Shaker Shed which houses a collection of over 3000 salt and pepper shakers. Bonnie has a wide variety of novelty shakers on display including; animal shakers, vegetable shakers and cartoon shakers.

From Tumut travel a short distance to the African Violet Farm with over 1,000 different named varieties of African violets. You can also purchase violets from the farm or indulge in a delicious Devonshire tea. Return on Lacmalac Road and visit Tumut River Brooms and Market Gardens for fresh produce, eggs and brooms

To end your tour, retrace your route back to Tumut and make a stop at the Tumut Broom Factory. One of Tumut's most unique attractions where visitors can observe millet brooms being manufactured the old fashioned way - by hand.
